About
My love affair with metalwork began as I was earning a Industrial Design degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I took as many elective courses in the Metals department as I could, and after college started looking to design and produce my own work.
My work reflects a passion for the tools and techniques of traditional copper and silver-smithing. My work is influenced chiefly by the Arts and Crafts and the Art Nouveau styles, though I draw inspiration from contemporary and historic sources from across the globe. Rough hammer marks, texture, and patina's that connect the maker's hand to the product are a defining feature of my work.
